Malta
A Photographic Journey Checkpoint

I’ve been intrigued by film photography for a while, though it was never my primal way of shooting. Digital SLRs, being the de facto choice of a modern cameraman, were my main mode of capturing images.
But this year, my two weeks at Malta, imported Contax T2 from Japan, and five rolls of Portra 400 have finally tipped the scales. It was this image that triggered my decision to make film the main medium of choice.
A Toyota with a couple inside watching the sunset at the Golden Bay. The culminating, yet calming visual summary of my time meeting the locals, numerous British expats, and (oddly) getting detained at an airport.
